Weekend fun with Ms.Crankerpants

We had a (mostly) nice weekend with Caroline. It was so nice and sunny out! We spent a lot of time in the yard- I made some beautiful flower boxes and Mike did some planting and mulching. We also caught up with our neighbor Larry. He's a nice older fellow from England who has been in Quincy for ~40 years and used to work on the local paper here. So he knows a lot about the local history, and he chatted our ears off for quite a while :)

Little C decided to be a major crankerpants on Sunday, though. She was up most of the day and just fussed on and off for the whole day! We were quite fed up with it by Sunday night. We were hoping the fact that she was awake all day would mean she would sleep all night. Alas, no-- up every 2.5 hours like clockwork. But at least she went back to sleep pretty easily after each feeding...

Mike brought home a bottle of wine called "Mommy's time out." It was about as good as you would expect with a name like that... but enjoyable none the less.
