We got to see a bunch of friends on our trip. We introduced them all to Caroline and got to meet a bunch of their little ones as well.
Caroline meets Jenny. We got to see her adorable daughter Charley, too, but didn't get any pics of her...

Gihani came over for brunch at my mom's house. We wish she still lived in Boston :(

We stopped by our friends Mike and Emily's place in SF and got to see their little darling Katya. She was Caroline's size the last time we saw her, so she's grown a lot in a year!

My mom took Caroline to see Lee- the mother of my high-school friend Kristen. Kristen was visiting from Hong Kong with her new son Luke at the same time we were in California, but sadly, we weren't able to connect.

Caroline meets her great great auntie Joan (my grandma's sister)

Lindsay is a friend of mine from high school and the older sister of my brother Brian's best friend Graham. Graham got married while we were visiting, and Brian was best man at the wedding. He was a little nervous about his toast, but people say he did a great job. Lindsay came over to visit with her little son Nico, who is too cute.

But Caroline was unimpressed, and sneered at him for a long while. Boys are smelly. Nice face, hot stuff!

My friend Emily with the little darling. Emily gave me the funniest onesie ever. It says "Pour mommy some wine and I'll be fine." Awesome!

We met up with another high school friend, Claire, in Santa Cruz. Claire is sooo pregnant. Hard to believe this was me just 4 months ago. Thank goodness that's over! I think she looks adorable- like she stuck a basketball up her shirt. Her little boy should be arriving soon!

My friend and former roomate, Katie, was pregnant when I got to California. We were going to get together, but when I called, she had already had her baby! An adorable girl named Rosa. She and Jeff were nice enough to let us pop by on day 5. They were a little sleep-deprived and shell-shocked, but seemed to be getting up to speed with the whole new parent thing. I couldn't believe how small Rosa looked, even though she was a healthy 7.5 pounds. We tried to give them a few tips, and brought them some food, which was something I really appreciated in the first week.

Our friends Beth and Marco had a baby just a couple of weeks after we did. It was fun to introduce Caroline to Cash.

We met up with my old Stanford pal John in Madison
