Halloween!

We had a busy halloween week! We had halloween playgroup on Tuesday, Caroline went to a halloween party with her old daycare friends on Thursday, She went to the library storytime/party on Friday, we had another party at our friend Laura's house on Friday evening, then there was a party at Deanna's on Sunday and of course trick-or-treating. Wow! Lots of chances to show off her pink poodle cuteness. And the twins were just adorable as little ladybugs! What fun.

Unfortunately, we also had a bit of cranky babies to drive us mad. On Friday, after the party, we came home and Mirabelle screamed for about an hour. And Julianne piped in as well. On Sunday, after a little while in the stroller, trick-or-treating with Caroline, they started to fuss so Mike took them home. And then they cried for an hour again! And not just little whimpers- full on blow-your-head-off screams. Horrible. Its enough to drive you mad. I am proud to say that even through that trauma, Mike and I managed to get along and didn't get in a fight all weekend. And no mental breakdowns for me either. We're moving in the right direction :) And I finally put on a pair of pre-pregnancy jeans! (They used to be a lot looser, but hey, at least they fit!)
