Friday morning we went for a walk along state street with the kids. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun. Except when one of the twins had a big blow-out. That was less fun. Friday night they all came over to Mike's parents place for a boat ride and then over to our house for dinner. Caroline and Noah were running around like maniacs, but seemed to have a good time together.
Saturday afternoon we met up at the Monroe St. festival. But it was cold weather and the place was just shutting down. Caroline got a few jumps in at the bouncy house and then we watched some drumming and dancing (got Taylor and I reminiscing about our days in the Peace Corps). After that we went to a park where the kids ran around until they froze and we went home.
Sunday we went to the zoo in the morning. Noah loved the "train" ride and Caroline loved the carousel, as usual. She was terrified of the tiger for the first time ever. But Amy caught a great picture of the tiger right up in her face, so now I can see why (will post it once I get it from them).
So great to catch up with these guys. They live in Portland, ME, so we saw them pretty often when we were in Boston, but not since we moved. So it was great to get the visit. Thanks, guys!
