Mirabelle and Julianne are two months old!

The twins are two months old today, and they are doing great! They have grown so big and really don't seem like their little mushy newborn selves anymore. They'll be big girls before we know it! They are really taking in the world around them much more now. They'll watch people and things around them. They definitely react to my voice, too. They're grasping at things like mad. Their back and neck muscles are getting so strong- they're holding their heads up and they can push up when they are on their bellies. And they can both roll over from front to back.

They spend about half their time during the day awake and the other half napping. They aren't always on the same schedule, but I'm hoping they'll get more aligned when I go back to work this week and we need to nurse them together more often. Right now, I often just feed them on demand, sometimes that's together, but often it is separately.

They're sleeping well, for the most part. They occasionally have tough nights- usually Julianne- but many nights they just wake up once, around 3 or 4 am, to eat and then go back to bed.

Julianne still cries more than her sister, and eats a lot more too. It is starting to be fairly apparent that she's a lot bigger than her sister. Her face has really pudged up. No longer our little "skinny carrot"... Mirabelle is now the skinny minnie.

Mirabelle just started smiling yesterday. Not all the time, but she has done it several times and it is just so cute. I can't wait for more!!
