On the way back, we saw a sign for Wollersheim winery and decided to pop in. What a great spot- really a little slice of Napa right here in Wisconsin. We tasted almost all of the wines they had, and were surprised at the quality. They were pretty affordable too, so we ended up buying several bottles. Then we took one of them outside and had a glass, laying on a hill, watching the sun going down. What a great time. Caroline was running around charming the pants off of everyone.
As if that weren't great enough, we came home, put Caroline to bed and our friend Langdon came over to babysit while we went out to dinner (with a gift certificate from him and his lovely wife Anna). He had fun playing our Wii, while we had a nice, romantic dinner.
Doesn't get much better than that!
