So we've had a good week. Lots of fun with friends and general business. We had 2 doctors appts- the vision doc and a weight re-check. We went to the vision doctor because the pediatrician wanted them to make sure she didn't have a mild lazy-eye. As it turns out, she's all fine. But boy did she make some new friends running around the waiting room :)

At the weight re-check, Caroline had gained ~5 oz in 2 weeks, which the doctor was happy with. So I guess we can stop worrying. She's been doing about the same with the eating- but we're giving her more fattening foods and trying to give her snacks more often. She's a bit of a grazer, and doesn't eat that much at one time, but will keep eating if you give her snacks.

I also hosted bookclub at my house this month. We read "The American Wife" by Curtis Sittenfield- a novel very loosely based on the life of Laura Bush. Interesting concept- since most of it was fiction, but based on a few key events. And everyone seemed to like the book, which I was happy about, even if Erica says that it makes for more interesting discussion if people disagree...

We only had half of the group there- Cindy, Nora D., Kat, Sharon, and Kristin. We missed Nora "formerly known as perfect attendance" B., Erica, Lisa, Jacki and Laura.
