Heat wave

Oh did we enjoy the awesome heat wave that Boston had for the past 5 days or so. It was 80s to 90s for most of the days. Crazy! And over the weekend to boot! We enjoyed Saturday at a birthday party for Sam - whose mom Amanda was in my prenatal swim class and Sunday at the Run of the Charles canoe relay race which Mike does every year with his work.

Here are Mike and Ryan on the canoe. Caroline and I went to watch them on a bridge over the river. We had fun cheering on the other people before they arrived.

Here are Mike and Ryan's baby girls. They were born only about a month apart. Maris is sweet and mellow. I was envious as she just sat and played on the blanket with her mom while Caroline wandered around the park, eating sticks and rocks.
We've also had a few fun playdates with Casey lately. Here are some pics from the park on Friday
