The latest

It has been a busy and somewhat crazy couple of weeks. We had a bit of drama with the house inspection- the inspector told them he thought the house had major structural issues because of a bulge in the exterior foundation wall. He basically recommended they not buy the house. Fortunately, they liked the house enough to get a second opinion, so we agreed to split the cost of a structural engineer with them. Fortunately, the engineer said it all looked fine, no need to worry, so the deal moved forward. We just signed our P & S form last night so we're all but done. We move out May 21 and arrive in Madison about a week later. Woo Hoo! Time to start packing.

Other than the house drama, we've just been chugging along. Last weekend we had a few fun events- we spent Friday afternoon with Mike's aunt Pat, uncle Brian and cousin Caroline. Caroline (our Caroline's god mother) was looking at BC for college. So we ate lunch and walked around the Freedom Trail with them. Saturday night we went to dinner at our friends Jeff and Saydi's house. They have the sweetest kids- Hazel, Charlie and Emmeline. We played a great game of Settlers of Catan. We LOVE that game!

Other than that, we've had some fun playdates. Checked out the local Gymboree with Courtney and Casey- a fun spot, but a bit overpriced- we enjoyed the free trial class! And lots of walks around the neighborhood--the flowers are blooming everywhere. We're looking forward to the heat wave that's supposed to start tomorrow. Hooray!

Caroline has been a bit of a crank-monster lately becuase her molars are coming in. Poor thing was all drooly and full of tears tonight. I'm hoping it goes quick this round.
