A very happy half-birthday to you!

Our little darling turns six months old today :) So very exciting.

So what is new with Caroline? She is more active than ever- moving around everywhere, reaching for things, laughing and babbling quite a lot. She just seems to know what is going on around her more. She loves to play and needs to be entertained all the time. She has become a bit of a primadonna at daycare- whining whenever they play with the other baby and she's not getting enough attention.

She's sleeping great- through the night pretty much every night since I stopped letting her eat if she woke up before 6. Now she goes down at 8pm and stays quiet until 6:30 or 7am. It is really fabulous. She's drinking like a fish- she'll down 8 ounces at once sometimes, and is going through bottle after bottle every day. More than I'm producing even- we're depleting our freezer supply rapidly. I think that means she needs to be getting more nutrients/calories from food, but despite lots of efforts, she doesn't get much down when we feed her. We try every night, and they're now trying at daycare too. She eats rice cereal and has tried bananas and applesauce. Nothing really strikes her fancy, but it is hysterical to watch her face when she tastes strange new flavors! I think she'll get the hang of it soon.

She's still drooling like mad and her two little bottom teeth keep growing. She'll occasionally still eat her feet, but seems to be passing through that phase (phew!) But she does want to eat everything else, and now that she moves around too, we are seriously thinking about childproofing the place.

She is just a joy to spend time with and we can't wait to watch her keep growing and changing.
