These girls are just making so many advances. Mirabelle is a crazy army crawler. She will cross the room in no time. Julianne can do it too, but she's a lot slower and will often just hang out in one spot instead. They're both just starting to get up on their hands and knees, but they haven't figured out how to move forward from that position. Julianne is sitting up really confidently- rarely falling down. Mirabelle still tips over quite a lot.
We had to do some serious babyproofing to keep them out of trouble. Mostly to keep them in one place and keep Caroline's little toys out of reach.
They love to play with things now. And by "play with" I mean put in their mouth. But really, they are so much more interactive. Even Caroline is starting to play with them... a little. They get annoyed when she steals their toys.
They're teething like mad. They both have their bottom two teeth. Julianne now has 4 teeth coming in on top. Mirabelle has had teething symptoms but nothing has popped through yet.
They are eating SO much baby food. Its funny because Caroline never really liked baby food. These girls do pretty well with it. They obviously like the sweet stuff better-apple, pear, banana, and fruit-flavored yogurt. They make funny faces with peaches but like those too. Peas, squash, etc- get down, but definitely not as desirable. They LOVE things they can eat with their hands- little stars, cheerios, biscuits. Mirabelle was quicker to pick things up and get them in her mouth, but now Julianne can do it too.
Mirabelle was making consonant sounds first, but Julianne just started that. They both love to say "Dada"... I'm getting over it :) Mirabelle babbles away all the time. Love it!
They also have the cutest little giggles. It is literally my favorite sound in the entire world.
