4 months old

Julianne and Mirabelle are 4 months old. They are sweet girls- they smile and coo a lot! They love to kick and stand (in our arms, of course) and reach for things. They've just discovered putting their hands in their mouths.

Julianne is still quite a bit bigger than Mirabelle- she's at 13lbs 10oz, while Mirabelle is 11lbs 15 oz. So almost 2 pounds bigger. And you can feel it!

They're still pretty cranky a decent amount of the time- my mother thinks they may have some reflux or something. So we're trying out some medicine to see if that's really the case.

Sleep is going so-so. They were doing so great for a while there- only waking up once a night at around 2 months. But it seems like they've regressed lately, often waking up 4 or 5 times a night. Its enough to drive you bonkers. Oh well. They'll get through it eventually.

And I think this picture just perfectly captures their dynamic. Julianne is the dominant one- shoving little Mirabelle around. She's been doing it since they were in the womb. (seriously!)
