Mother's day

We had a fabulous mother's day. My mom came to visit for a little over a week, and it was so nice to be able to celebrate mothers day with her for the first time in many years! And Mike got to share it with his mom and Caroline with me. So lots of good mom time all around. So we started with church and then had brunch at Mike's parents house. Mike and his dad cooked all of our meals for the day, which was fabulous. Baked french toast and yummy fruit! Then we spent some time by the lake and eventually came back to our house, where they barbecued up a great dinner. Mike cooked this crazy good salmon, I even ate a big piece, which is pretty rare for me! Then we all took a walk in the Phesant Branch Conservancy. What a lovely day!
