Happy Thanksgiving!
This year, we have so much to be thankful for...
- Our beautiful daughter, who brightens our every day! We are so blessed to have a girl who is healthy, happy, hugable, joyful, and so easy to love.
- My mom, who has made the past week so much fun. She takes such good care of us- I just don't know how I would survive without her.
- Uncle Tom and Aunt Laurie, who were such gracious hosts and made the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner; Max and Nate, who let us sleep in their rooms; and Aunt Mad, Uncle Bill, and Sandy, who made the long drive up from DC to celebrate with us, while poor Betsy was stuck working.
- The rest of our families who we didn't get to spend thanksgiving with... especially my dad and brothers, and Mike's parents and brothers. We miss you all and look forward to visiting with you soon!
- A wonderful set of friends who put up with our nonstop babytalk and our blog posts with one zillion pictures- you know you love it!
- In the midst of this crazy economy, stable jobs we like and 401Ks which we don't have to access for many years (by which point, they will hopefully have recovered!)
- Our continued good health and happiness, a warm home to call our own, and loads of love for one another!

Great photos!
What exactly is a tofurkey? A soy loaf?
Well, it is basically some sort of soy goop made to be like turkey, with a little ball of stuffing in the middle. I read in the paper that it was the best fake turkey out there. Oh, how wrong! It was gelatenous yuckiness. Tragic. But the rest of dinner made up for it!
