Catching up with old friends

This Saturday was great fun- my friend So and I went up to New Hampshire. We were headed to Chrity's shower, but our first stop was at our friend Lori's lakeside cabin near Concord. Lori was in the Peace Corps with me and So, but we had lost touch in the 8 years since we got back. Well, thank goodness for Facebook for helping us find one another again! It was funny how we could change so much, yet seemingly not really at all, in the past decade or so. It felt like old times- we had fun catching up on one another's lives and piecing together the news of other long-lost friends. We kept warm with a cup of tea, sitting on her deck, checking out the loverly folliage.
