Our little lucky charm missed St. Pattie's day by a day, but we still decked her out in style :)
Today was a busy one! We started with a visit from a nurse, who checked both mom and baby to make sure everyone was doing well. Caroline continues to gain weight, though she's not quite back to her birthweight just yet.
Then she had her first bath! Grandma did most of the work in the kitchen sink, getting herself somewhat soaked in the process. Caroline got a little fussy, but overall didn't seem to mind it so much. And now her gorgeous locks are shiny and clean- and a little curly, too!
We took our first walk around the neighborhood with her- probably more fun for mom and dad than for Caroline, who slept through the whole thing. It was a bright sunny day, but still quite cold out!
The rest of the day was pretty quiet- Mike watched a lot of basketball (hooray that both Wisconsin and Stanford are still in it!) and grandma whipped up some tasty lasagna. I don't know what I would do without her here- she cooks, she cleans, she soothes Caroline when she cries, she takes great care of all of us! I'm going to have a serious meltdown when she leaves!
