Chi-CA-GOOOOO!

What an awesome trip we had to Chicago! We went down overnight to see our friends Allana and Tous. They showed us a great time. We went down to millenium park, via the elevated subway, which she was very excited about. She was even more excited that the El went by their apartment every 10 minutes or so, and you could see it out the back window. Caroline would run over to the window, with this adorable smiling face, like she was surprised every time it passed! We had dinner on a street with a zillion Indian restaurants. Caroline ran around like a maniac, so I'm sure they were happy for us to leave when we finished, but it was tasty and fun. Then we stayed up late (by our standards... maybe 11pm) playing taboo. Mike really needs to brush up on his taboo skills. We were slaughtered. In the morning we had a big brunch and Allana and Tous spun Caroline around and around on their desk chair, to her endless delight. We drove on both days during Caroline's nap, which worked really well and made the ~2.5 hour trip pretty easy. We can't wait for Allana or "Wana" as Caroline calls her, and Tous to come see us in Madison and have some summer fun on the lake.
