Saturday we had our goodbye BBQ. It was such a fun, fun, fun time! We had so many friends come over to say goodbye and wish us well. Of course, that was sad, but I tried to focus on the fun and not the fact that we're leaving (perhaps I'm still in denial?). There were tons of babies. And tons of food. We couldn't possibly eat it all. We sent some folks home with some, but will probably have to give away a bunch more when we leave in a few days. We also had fun Skyping with our families Sunday night (my mom, brother, sister-in-law and nephews and Mike's parents, uncle and cousins). We're excited to see them all in person soon.
Sunday we had a few of my prenatal swim class friends over for a playdate- including Liz and Martin, who we hadn't seen since class. Then it was just pack, pack, pack!! Only a few days left and then we're off... Here are a few pics of the festivities:
Caroline with daddy and uncle John

BBQ time... Caroline LOVED the BBQ chips!
And hanging out with lots of other babies!! From L to R: Noah, Sam, Casey, Caroline, Sawyer, Ellie and William
She did not, however, like sharing her toys. Casey also didn't like when Caroline wouldn't share her toys.
We got to catch up with lots of friends- here are some of the old Bridgespan crew
And our friends Freddy and Sonya with their baby Aleah
Matt and Harpreet show Caroline how to play bocce
And Dave and Mer lounge in the sun...
Here are a few pics from our last few playgroups and playdates:
Sitting down for cookie time.
With Marti and Pam who run the playgroup. You'll see here I have 2 kids- but one is just borrowed from my friend Caryn :) Although half of the women in the group are recently pregnant. Not me. Not yet. Not for a while.
