Caroline has all of a sudden become a little girl. Is it that she's walking? Or that her baby fat rolls have been replaced by a long, lean body? Or that she's really starting to understand what we say and respond? I'm not sure, but it just feels like we have a little girl now, and not just a baby. It makes me a little bit sad, just knowing that she won't be that little for long. But also just excited for all of her next steps.
She continues her walking adventures- now taking 10- 20 steps at a time. She's even able to bend down and pick things up without falling to the ground (sometimes). She was having a tough time transitioning from the hardwood floor to the rug and back again, but seems to be getting better at that.

Is her hair turning straight? It looks like it in that second video.
I love these walking videos. She does, indeed look like a little girl and less of a baby.
she is sooo cute. It's true, they grow up so fast....it doesn't feel fast when you're in the middle of it, but man, it seems like just yesterday Hazel was taking her first steps.
Her hair still has a little curl to it, but it is definitely straighter than before. I think it will curl up again with the humidity next summer...
