Fun with friends

A lot of our recent weekends have been pretty mellow- just enjoying summer, having cookouts with friends (you know you're in the midwest when you start calling them cookouts instead of barbecues), and other such fun.

We've tried to take the girls on a couple of bikerides, but they don't seem sold on the idea just yet. There was lots of screaming! We had a little trip to the beach but it was colder than expected... not that it stopped Caroline from jumping in the water. We had a fun night with Anna and Deanna and all our monsters at home while our husbands went to the Brewers game. Loads of good fun.
